Eat. Pray. Love.

At the Movies:

Eat. Pray. Love.

Genre: Erotic Drama

Cast:

Liz Gilbert: Jessalyn Gilsig

Stephen: Andy Samberg

Delia Shiraz: Lauryn Hill

Old Man India: Robert Downey Jr.

Plot:

From what I could gather after watching the very colourful trailer, this is a movie about a woman who sneers at her boyfriend, because her face has mutated to look exactly like his. She then goes to a monastery for nuns where she eats their magic ice-cream that makes her jeans too small wthout making her any larger.
She then rides her bike from the US to India to Bali where she starts whoring around with any man she comes across, both Hollywood celebrities and crazy-old men (Robert D. Jr. is once again divine in showing his chameleon talents).

The moral of the story is that if you hate your boyfriend you should take a vacation, get some strange and watch out for bewitched ice-cream.

Inception

At the Movies:

Inception

Genre: Documentary

Cast:

Dom Cobb: Ken Jeong

Ariadne: Justin Bieber

Arthur: Heath Ledger's ghost

Mal Cobb: Audrey Hepburn's ghost

Plot:

Despite having two ghosts on the call sheet, this socially conscious film has no supernatural influences. It documents the journey of a group of people who arm themselves heavily, put on nice suits and set out to find the world's shittiest street-planner and architect who completely messed up the main characters' home town by making the streets the wrong angles and stuff.

I'm all for social realism and people taking matters into their own hands. A deep and very relevant film piece.

Pretty Little Liars

On TV:

Pretty Little Liars

Genre:
Teen Drama

Cast:

Aria: Selena Gomez

Hanna: Ashley Olsen

Spencer: Sarah Silverman

Emily: Emmanuelle Chriqui

Plot:

The series evolves around four best friends who lose their other best friend Alison, at a sleepover. Some friends, huh? Anyways, she doesn't turn up and the other girls move on with their lives; some by turning to high profile crimes, others by sleeping with underage boys (one of them being a 14 year old teacher, played by Adam Brody).

Soon though, the four friends start recieving texts from a ghost who knows all their secrets.

Even the one about all four girls being in their 20's but posing as 16-17 year old high school students.

Lots of drama. Lots of questions waiting to be answered.
Where did Alison go?

Who is the ghost?

How did a ghost get a cellphone?

So far, a bold and exciting show.

Based on a true story.

Available for downloading all over the internet.
